TYPES OF SUBMISSION

1) Research Paper: Original research that presents new findings relevant to Asian Business Innovation and Responsibility. This should include novel concepts, model testing, market research, surveys, action research, and empirical studies, with implications for Asian business development. Length: 6,000 to 9,000 words, including tables, figures, and references. The paper may include the following sections:

  • a. Introduction/Background
  • b. Literature Review/ Theoretical Background and Hypothesis Development
  • c. Methodology
  • d. Results or Results and Discussions
  • e. Discussions
  • f. Implications of the Study
  • g. Limitations and Future Research/ Conclusion

2) Case Study: Describes actual interventions or experiences in business innovation and responsible practices, focusing on specific contexts like stakeholders, industries, or countries in Asia. Length: 5,000 to 7,000 words, including tables, figures, and references. The paper may include:

  • a. Background
  • b. Objectives
  • c. Case 1/Study 1… (based on the context)
  • d. Results and Discussions
  • e. Implications/Future Agenda

3) Conceptual or Methodological Paper Develops ideas, frameworks, models, theories, or methods in business innovation and responsibility, identifying literature gaps and advancing knowledge. Not merely a literature review, it should foster future research. Length: 6,000 to 9,000 words, including tables, figures, and references. The format is flexible, depending on content presentation.

4) Policy Perspective or Viewpoint:

Policy Perspective:Analyzes policy issues in business innovation and responsibility, offering conclusions and recommendations for policy action. Length: 3,000 to 5,000 words. The paper may include Introduction/Background, Problem Statements, Methods/Analysis, Findings and Recommendations, and Conclusion.

ViewpointAuthor's opinions on responsible business practices, providing summaries, debates, and discussions grounded in evidence. Length: 3,000 to 5,000 words, with up to 15 references. The paper can include figure(s) and image(s) to enhance presentation. The paper may include Background – basis of arguments and why it is relevant/important now and Subtitles – concise text summing up the main points.

5) Book Reviews: Critiques and discussions on publications related to business innovation and responsibility, introducing content and evaluating contributions. Length: 1,000 to 1,500 words. The paper may include:

  • a. Introduction
  • b. Summary
  • c. Critique
  • d. Recommendation
  • e. Conclusion

    An original paper should be composed according to the following sections in the particular order:

  • MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
    Authors should use Times New Roman, 12 pts, throughout the manuscript. All text should be single-spaced.
    • 1) Heading 1

      For heading 1, use 12pts, Times New Roman, in bold. Insert one blank line (12 pts) before and after heading 1.

    • 2) Heading 2

      For heading 2, use 12pts, Times New Roman, in Bold Italic. Insert one blank line (6 pts) before and after heading 2.

    • 3) Heading 3 (and others)

      For heading 3, use 12pts, Times New Roman, in Italic. Insert one blank line (6 pts) before and after heading 3.

    TABLES AND FIGURES
    • 1) Figure(s)

      Figures may include photographs, illustrations, multi-colour graphs, and flowcharts. All figures must be inserted in the appropriate position in the manuscript. Authors should number figures consecutively based on their appearance in the main text. Figure caption and description should be inserted below the figure body. Figures should be high resolution (200 dpi, minimum). For Figure caption, use 10pts, Times New Roman, center align.

    • 2) Table(s)

      Table(s) should be self-explanatory and clearly organized. Table(s) must be inserted in the correct position in the manuscript, must include a clear title and numbered in Arabic numerals. For table text, use 11pts, Times New Roman. For table title, use 10pts, Times New Roman, left align. Table(s) should be formatted per the following style.

    REFERENCE

    AJBIR recommends APA (American Psychological Association) sixth reference format. The author-date (name, date) method of in-text citation. For example, (Saks, 2006), and a full reference should appear in the reference list at the end. For the reference list, use 12pts, Times New Roman, justified.
